Olaf laying in the sand.

Olaf laying in the Sand

Being a Disney Nut, I had to make an Olaf page of him laying in the sand. I made the Olaf file from a coloring page that I found on the net.

Here is the second page. I used snowman paper as the water as a twist. I used Quick Quote inks to shade the sun and the palm tree.

Christmas Door Hanger

Christmas Door Hanger

This door hanger is made with a paper mache cone. I Mod Podged paper from Recollections "All is Calm" paper pack that came out in 2013 onto the cone. A single spray of pine greens and one spray of maroon balls creates the arrangement. I love how a little bit of gold tinge makes such an impact. There are three tiny soft green Christmas balls inside the arrangement.

A red ribbon is wrapped around the arrangement and a green bow finishes the project. The gold beads were hot glued into place.

This is hanging on the inside of my front door. I would not put this outside.

Halloween Center Piece

Halloween Center Piece

Halloween is my favorite time of the year! I made this centerpiece from a small pumpkin and a paper cone.
The flowers are PAPER. Yes, you read correctly! They are paper.  A small skeleton sits on the pumpkin. I I took a paper cone and Mod Podged a piece of spider web paper onto the cone.

Hot glue was used to attach the cone to the pumpkin. A black feather boa was glued to hid the rim of the cone where it meet the pumpkin.

Wrapping tulle around the cone gave the centerpiece a softer look. Gold tinge adds just a touch of sprankle!

Let it Go from Disney's Frozen

Let it Go from Disney's Frozen

I am a huge Disney fan. This page is for photo's that I have from Disney's Epcot. I have never waited in line for so long as I did to see Anna and Elsa.

I took a coloring page from the net and made my own cut files in my Silhouette Cameo. The title Let it Go was a cut file in the Silhouette store. The snowflake banner also came from the Silhouette store but I did the offset.

The photo mats are 4.25x4.25 and 4.25x6.25.

Adding a border of fuzzy ribbon on the top ties the pages together.

Lighthouse Tag

Lighthouse Mixed Media Tag

This tag is 6" tall. The tag, waves, lighthouse, birds and clouds were all cut from the Silhouette Cameo. Each wave is embossed with a different embossing folder and inked. The lighthouse is 5" high and has been both inked and embossed. Using Glass Accents made the light yellow in the lighthouse stand out.

I used modeling paste and alcohol inks to create the clouds. I did not have a stencils of clouds so I made one off out of paper and the Silhouette.

The background is actually a cream colored card stock that has been distressed inked.

I love seagulls! I cut these from the Silhouette. They are inked and glossy accented.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax Layout

 Dr. Seuss' The Lorax

A friend of mine asked me to see if I could create the Lorax Trees in my Silhouette. After several tries, this layout was the ending result. I really thought that I would never get the trees right!

I created three different sizes of the trees. The largest tree stands 10". the second stands 8" and the last is 6" high. Making the cut file was interesting to say the least! But I am happy with the way the they turned out.

I also created the cut files for the Lorax and the title. The Lorax is cut at 5.5" tall.

Cute as a Button

Cute as a Button

I used the Silhouette Cameo to make the title and both Dolls. I then hot glued the real buttons onto both the title and the standing doll. The doll doing the splits also have buttons on the flowers. Inking all of the edges gives just the right touch. I love the Martha Stewart border punch!.

With Sympathy

With Sympathy

I made this card for a friend that lost her Mother. The butterfly, leaves and the window were cut from the Silhouette Cameo. The flowers are a punch from Friskers. I placed the flowers on a mouse pad and pushed in the middle to have the flowers curl in the middle. The flowers were inked with Quick Quotes Ink Pink Cheeks. The small pearls in the middle of the flowers are actually small dot from Viva Pearl Pen Cream.

Flower Card

Flower Card

I found this layout on Pinterest. Of course, I had to change it a little. Each stripe is cut at an half of an inch from glitter paper. The largest flower is cut at 3.3" in white. I then inked each flower with Quick Quotes ink Lemonade. I made each flower darker as I got closer to the center.  The center was inked in the same Lemonade ink and then glittered with Viva Glitter Liner Yellow Quartz. Of course the flower came from the Silhouette store file named Gerber Daisy.

Donald Duck

Donald Duck!

I was so excited to find the star frame in the Silhouette store! The Donald Duck was a coloring page on the internet. I copied it into my Cameo. The white highlights was created with a new product for me,  Zig Wink of Luna.

Goofy!

Goofy!

Being Goofy is always a great time. I took a coloring page from off the internet and make the Goofy die cut. He is cut at 4.5" tall. The swirls are from the silhouette store. And the Goofy was created by using a font from dafont.com with two oblong cirlces. All the edges have been inked with Quick Quotes Chalk Inks.

Sandy Toes and Salty Kissees

Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses

I woke up this morning thinking this layout in my head. We just purchased a new travel trailer and I want to put a few pictures on the wall. The seashell and feet came from the Silhouette. I made my own Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses by using the font "Lucida Calligraphy" and welded the letters together.  I love the paper from K & Company. I also cut out a chipboard in the shape of the shell in order for this wallhanging to be able to be hung.

Wonderful You Card

Wonderful You

Each week my friends on Facebook are challenged to do a greeting card. This is my version of this weeks challenge. The bird punch is from Stampin Up.

Seaside Candle Holder

Seaside Candle Holder

If I could spend my time anywhere on this Earth, it would be sitting on the Gulf of Mexico with my man and friends. I have always been in love with the sun and the beach. My Dad found me the shells.

I found this idea on Pinterest and knew exactly what I was going to do. The tuna fish can was perfect! Twenty-two cloths pins fit around the can.

After I painted the cloths pins, I used the Tim Holtz crackle paint to give the paint a more rustic look. I found the cloths pins at the Dollar Tree. They were 36 in the pack.
