Fall

Fall

My scrapbooking group does a challenge called "Ugly Paper". The idea behind this is someone brings in paper that they just do not know what to do with. They place the paper in a bag and we exchange bags. You never know what you might receive in your bag. This concept challenges your mind and scrap skills! This months "ugly paper" was for us to use nothing but scrap paper. You know that you have a bin sitting close by that you throw all of your scraps that you are "going to use later!" but never do. We were only allowed to use the paper found in the scrap bin except the two sheets of solid colored card stock used on the back ground.

My bag this time had the yellowish gold card stock. At first, I was a little afraid of the color but then it was my turn at the scrap bin and I seen all the fall colored paper that was in it. Jack Pot!

All of the die cuts are from my Silhouette. When I purchased the tree, I honestly did not know what I was going to do with it since we rarely have four seasons here in Florida! We make our own seasons. Small flourishes and tiny flowers are an added touch. As normal, I inked the edges of the die cuts. I used a small orange pin to make the pumpkin lines.
