Forever

Forever

I have several Martha Stewart punches. I do not know why I don't use them as much as I should! I inked the border with Quick Quote inks. Pop dots give just the right mix of flush and raised elements.

Atlanta Falcons

Go Falcons!

I am loving my Silhouette. The Atlanta Falcons helmet was cut from the Silhouette. Using the designer studio in the Silhouette, the helmet came out just as I wanted it to.  My scrap group made an album for the little boy's parents in the pictures. They are huge Falcon fans. It hurt to make Falcons! LOL Go Cowboys! LOL

4th of July

The 4th made for the stars.

Large star burst was cut from my Silhouette. Love the look of the inked stars. Pop dots create the look of the stars bursting from the page.

When I seen the bears on the Silhouette, I knew that I had to create them! The boy bear is cut at 3.5 inches and the girl bear is cut at 3". The stars on the side of the page are from the inside the cut out of the large star burst on the opposite of the page.  Love using "scraps"!

Fall

Fall

My scrapbooking group does a challenge called "Ugly Paper". The idea behind this is someone brings in paper that they just do not know what to do with. They place the paper in a bag and we exchange bags. You never know what you might receive in your bag. This concept challenges your mind and scrap skills! This months "ugly paper" was for us to use nothing but scrap paper. You know that you have a bin sitting close by that you throw all of your scraps that you are "going to use later!" but never do. We were only allowed to use the paper found in the scrap bin except the two sheets of solid colored card stock used on the back ground.

My bag this time had the yellowish gold card stock. At first, I was a little afraid of the color but then it was my turn at the scrap bin and I seen all the fall colored paper that was in it. Jack Pot!

All of the die cuts are from my Silhouette. When I purchased the tree, I honestly did not know what I was going to do with it since we rarely have four seasons here in Florida! We make our own seasons. Small flourishes and tiny flowers are an added touch. As normal, I inked the edges of the die cuts. I used a small orange pin to make the pumpkin lines.

Welcome Baby Book

Welcome Baby Book!

I found a wonderful paper pack for baby boy's at Hobby Lobby. The paper pack included the tags that you will see blow.  Even with the paper pack, I had to include cuts from my Silhouette. How did I ever live without this machine?!!?!?!

Love! Love! Love the baby gator! A rhinestone for his eye to give him just a hint of something special. Of course he is inked around his edges. The gator was cut from my Silhouette at 6" long.

I love fuzzy cutting. The space ships are fuzzy cuts from a collage of ships and then pop dotted to give dimension.

The Boy sign is cut at 2" from the Silhouette and I used the small stars at the bottom of the page from the middle of the cloud.

The owl is cut from my Silhouette at 3". The inking around him is from Quick Quotes Inks.

A touch of glitter goes a long way. The flowers and board are cut from glitter paper.

The glitter paper circles on this page was just the right about of sparkle. I cut the circle as a board and then cut them to fit the page.

I am not normally a fan of flowers on boy pages but I loved the color of blue flowers that I had. Each flower has a center that is a brad.

The Jackson was cut from my Silhouette. I love the welding feature! The Jackson is one piece. The small diaper pins are actually brads.

Best thing about cutting shapes from my Silhouette is that I can pick and choose my colors. I would never have found a "binkie" in the colors to match my blanket background paper. The Binkie is also inked around the edges and pop dotted.

The small baby feet cut from golden rod color paper came from my Silhouette also. They are pop dotted to had dimensions.

The giant safety pin was cut by the Silhouette. Five inches tall! I am super glad that I did not have to change that babies diaper!

I love mixing and matching cuts from the Silhouette. And of course, the All boy is from a font on my computer welded together.

Bling! Even boys need some bling!.

Love the saying on this page. Life is so much sweeter when babies are around.

Baby Boy and the shadow was cut on my Silhouette. I love the off set feature! It is nice to be able to make a background for the words with just one click.

Beautiful ribbon added a special touch on the top and bottom of this page.

Another font cut from my computer on the Silhouette.

How cute are the trees? So many trees on the Silhouette, it was hard to pick the set that I wanted to use. The edges are inked and the center tree is pop dotted.

Balloons, balloons everywhere! The word baby is pop dotted and the 4.25x 6.25 photo map is inked.
